You are interested in discovering new artists and supporting them? Signup as a producer.

This status allows you to take part in the site's activities (comments, discussions, favorites, polls and more) and to invest money in the artists that you like.

2. Find good artists
Use the available tools (charts, sorted by popularity, by number of visits, ...) and discover your favorite artists.
 
 
3. Invest
Invest 5€ shares in one or more artists of your choice.

There are two kinds of production : the EP at 35,000€ or the LP+  at 80,000€.

As long as the artist hasn't reached his goal, he may decide to end his adventure and leave Akamusic.  In which case you may transfer your shares to another artist or get you money back.

 
 
4. Freedom
On Akamusic, you remain FREE!

As long as the single or album goal of your artist has not been reached, you are free to:

  • get the amount invested back
  • transfer all or a part of your shares to another artist.
 
 
5. Get your artist recorded
Once the financial objective has been reached, your artist enters the recording studio.

Akamusic will provide a  production manager during all the recording process.

The Akamusic artist will keep you posted all along the project.

 
 
6. Collector CD
As this project is also yours, you will receive a signed Collector CD, regardless of the amount invested.
 
 
7. Sales
The songs that you have produced will be available for downloading on partner sites (iTunes, Amazon, ...).

You may also physically purchase the CD in all the partner's points of sale (Extrazone, ...).

 
 
8. Your share of the pie
The distribution of the net revenue will be 40% to the artist, 40% to the producers and 20% to Akamusic.

On top of that you will get 40% of the editing rights (radio broadcasts, adverts, ...) that Akamusic gets on the songs of the production.

9. Promotion
Create momentum around your artists.

The more people purchase your produced music, the more money you make.

Tools enabling you to promote your production efficiently are available on the Akamusic artist's page (flash modules or javascript to be placed on blogs, Facebook modules, MySpace...)
